A privileged setting

Finca Sierra La Solana is located between the towns of Herencia -north-east of the province of Ciudad Real, at 150 km from Madrid and 5 km from the border with the province of Toledo- and Villarta, and it is surrounded by a beautiful setting.  With a surface area of 350 hectares, it is surrounded by vineyards, almond trees and a hill full of thick shrub and Mediterranean vegetation, where we can see fauna such as wild boar, badgers, imperial eagles, eagle owls, vultures, rabbits, partridges, turtledoves and wood pigeons, among others, live freely.

The special location of this plot of land on the southern-facing slope, covered by the Solana mountain range, contributes to creating one of the most unique microclimates in Herencia, providing our pasture very specific characteristics compared to other locations in the region.

The extreme climate in Castilla La Mancha, with cold winters and hot summers, favours the growth of rich Mediterranean vegetation, which we use to feed our livestock.

Finca Sierra la Solana features a farmhouse refurbished and transformed into a Rural Tourism Establishment that maintains the rustic architecture and amenities of a quality accommodation.

The location of this farmhouse, near several villages of great interest for tourists, allows enjoying several other leisure activities and its incomparable gastronomy.
